Precinct Chairs

WHAT IS A PRECINCT?

A Precinct is a local voting district. In Government, it is the lowest level of organized or grouped communities.

WHAT IS A PRECINCT CHAIR?

A Precinct Chair is a local community organizer and resource to their community. Precinct Chairs are part of a counties CEC (County Executive Committee) for the Democratic Party & the Republican Party. Both parties respectfully each have their own separate Precinct Chairs and County Parties, along with CEC. Find a list of Precinct Chairs (scroll down to Navarro County) here: https://webservices.sos.state.tx.us/cpc-filing/cpc-report.aspx

WHAT DO PRECINCT CHAIRS DO?

A Precinct Chair is your local community source for all things political. They should be able to help you check your voter registration, register to vote if needed, provide information on the next election, where and when to vote, and upcoming events with the local county party. Precinct chairs should be engaged in their community and a trusted source of information for all community members.
